If he is having a hard time hunting, wouldn't the parent(s) come out and try to show him how? Or is it a health problem, cause this bird doesn't look healthly? On other sites have seen parents feeding their fledgings for a bit or once or twice after fledging, (probably feeding for a couple of months till they could hunt)don't understand why this one is so thin. Not a pretty sight.

That's not good, he looks like he's almost starving  :'( :'(  I wonder if he's having some challenges hunting.   :'(

I don't know - the other pics I have posted of juvies don't look like that. All the pics I saved of this little guy looked this way - he stayed for a little while. I do think this is one of the males, and I believe the other pics of juvies have been of the two females.

Is that the cam that is making him look so emancipated?  I hope so cause he looks way too thin for my liking.
