Hatch number 4 going on right now  ;D

Aw nuts, it was just my eyes at half-past-the-middle-of-the-night last night ... congrats Radisson on number 4!!  What is the interval between the hatches Bev?  I ask because we have had a couple of later hatches that haven't done so well and a couple that have this year ...

That's from a 5-part trilogy, as I recall?!

indeed!  Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Trilogy, in five parts.

I think we may need to adopt it for watching chicks.  We need a large sign in friendly letters across the page that says "Don't Panic!"

that is a seriously funny picture!

reminds me of "The Restaurant at the End of the Universe" where the "meal animal" walked up and described which bits would be the most tender and tasty....

food delivery taking on a whole new meaning here!

Playing catch me if you can.  ;D ;D
SGB got them on top of the box . I got one actually come on the perch.

so all is well. 3 chicks and one unhatched so far.
they have been fed and they have had company paying their respects.

I have been here since 5:00am Alberta time and I need sleep but too late now. time for Brekkie
anyhow
I was with SGB watching and I think  I have some answers to my questions.
The grey thing we kept seeing was a piece of prey that was  either leftover or brought in before any of us got up. Maybe in case there was a hatch overnight
Dad did come to the perch this morning so he is not neglecting her.

he is a great provider.
And we had pigeons this morning
first a slide show of the feed by mom with leftovers.

It is really difficult to tell whether or not there has been a fourth hatch.  Part of an egg is still visible next to the chicks which probably means no hatch yet as she would likely have removed the shell. Or maybe not  ???
