I keep changing my mind about the sexes but I think after watching the fed I will still say 2 males , 2 females . but it could be 3 females.

I will find out what kind of tape Tracy.
The tape is used to identify them better. If peter and I are it this year again then we want to make sure we are not seeing the same juvenile.
I am going to try and get a few people other than us though.
we will see tomorrow.
I am thinking a male and a female for sure. the other 2 I am not sure of .Could be smaller females or larger males so I am saying 2 males a 2 females.
I will find out size of box also but they do have the roof ledge belwo when they are older if need be.
A feed going on now.
sorry I have not been psoting . quite the week and ahof for me and I have been looking after my grandson as well

Man, those kids are gonna FILL that nestbox when they get bigger. Just exactly how large is the inside of this nestbox? It's hard to tell by the camera.

Exactly right. You can't read the bands when they're fledging - so the colored tape helps you identify who went where.
We just used colored tape from the dollar store that someone picked up. It's like colored electrical tape.
