From this morning.Last 2 shots are of all 4 :o :on ledge.First time I have seen FRoona on ledge .
you can see the difference in size now and her darker feathers are coming in fast.

As I looked at them today and I thought Monday would be too soon .but it is day 37 on Monday and I wanted eyes just in case. They have not done any major flapping either. Lots of white left also. the longer they wait the better as far as I am concerned. Then the female will be more mature also. I do not want her going becasue the boys took the leap.
Sometimes they do go hop , flap down on the roof ledge for a few days.
I plan on phoning Peter when one fledges and he will post it here.
I am training him now LOL

Looking at those photos, I think you will have a few extra days before the kids start flying ... the puffaloons are a bit too big yet. Refresh my memory, how far is it from the box to the roof of the building? I could maybe see them hopping to the rooftop and then runningaround for a couple more days before actually getting real wind under their wings. But all of that is based on your photos - so do be sure to let us know when your kids "leap" ...

When I was down for my fedge meeting last night the 3 males were on the perch and mom was up above the nest box (on a pillar).dad was across at the heart building.
If it is anything like last year the parents are now starting to position themselves in places where they want the kids to fledge to.
the opening of the Heart building was yesterday so I know why the kids were looking down so much.

they have sure grown quickly, it seems.
fledge watch starts Monday. I am praying for no incidents.
the parents will soon be doing fly bys with food to encourage the kids ot fly. I do not expect this until Monday.
