Both up on the roof now!!  Will she go??!!  Mr Red went!!  Will she follow??!!  She's moved to the lamp!

They must be on that rooftop nearby or something, she looks pretty intent with her glaring and her vocalizing!!

They are both fairly watchful and look like they're vocal.  Must be flying displays, and/or food flyby teasing going on.

Froona is taking some time off to preen.

So nice to see the two together.  I was glad to see it was Mr Red because he may be happy to hang around with Froona for awhile.  Mr Junior Ace Green would probably be too excited with his new skills to do more than touch and go!

Thanks for the recap of days old when fledging, Carly.

Girls are a few days behind the boys and these boys actually fledged on day 37 which is early..not out of the ordinary but in contrast the Winnepeg boys fledged what around day 40 so when Vesper went she was in fact around the same age as Froona is today (43 days old) - TPC can correct my memory if it's wrong.  My boys here didnt' fledge until day 40 while last year all the males and females fledged on Day 39 together so it varies.

I thought Froona was going to go this morning to be honest and I think she might have but mom brought food in when she jumped up to the roof - perhaps in an effort to keep her grounded until the boys are settled.  I also think the loss of Mr White would be a contributing factor and all the rescues.  The parents can only handle so many chicks flying and falling at the same time.

Funny, when I was looking on Cam 1 that band looked blue but now that I see it on 3 it is definitely red!!

It really is quite interesting that it has taken Froona so long to fledge.  I would have assumed that perhaps she would have followed on Wed. or Thurs. but if she doesn't take off today it will be that she is 7 days behind her sibs!  Is this common or are the females usually only a couple days behind the boys? ??? ???
