Liz:
WOW!  That nest has gotten a lot more serious looking in the last two hours -- lots of twigs.  Pretty crappy nest buillding tho -- lucky they've got built-in walls.

allikat:
I agree with that statement!

Liz:
Thanks for the update, Eli.  It's good to have another view of what's going on -- more eyes are better than less!

Elaine L:
I went down to the Clinical Sciences Building this afternoon to see for myself what was happening.  I must say, those ravens are tireless, and industrious like crazy.  The male rides shotgun for the female every step of the way - she is never left alone.  They come and go all the time, and as we all know, they rebuilt the nest very quickly, and are still at it.  I watched and watched for falcons, but none were to be seen.  There are so many birds in the area it is hard to keep track of everything - there are also a fair number of bird body parts throughout the area.  I just don't know what to think anymore, because the ravens work so hard to get everything in order for eggs, and yet the peregrines, as Bev mentioned, are an endangered species.  This is a nerve-racking situation.

Liz:
No worries!  We've all been there.   ;D ;D
