U of Alberta - 2009 / Damon & Radisson
Elaine L:
Bev, the white structure next to the nestbox that you mentioned, I saw a white structure that looked like a platform with rails for the biologists to stand on - I don't recall anything else. Also, I found it easy to look at the ravens and the nestbox from the ground as there are a number of barricades around, which reduce traffic and people. This was good, as it prevented me from running into people and cars. Certainly your viewpoint from the parkade would be better, though, and I must remember that for next time. I would be happy to find out from you the best spots for watching the falcons.
Loriann:
echos of what i've been saying all along. welcome aboard everyone... if its meant to be Ravens, it will be Ravens. ' all creatures great and small'.
The Peregrine Chick:
There is a silver lining here folks, just think if the peregrines don't return to this site this year, you might get to watch the ravens raise their young online ... their chicks really are just as ugly/cute as the peregrines :D
eagle63_1999:
Time and patience in the world of birds are the two things you need to keep in going lol
bev.:
I am learning. It takes me awhile. I get so passionate about things. ;) ;) But I am learning to accept what will be. thank you all for being so understanding.
