Calgary is about a 3 hour drive from Edmonton, depending if you want a ticket or not. ;D
Calgary always arrives before Edmonton, so ours should be here soon. there is a nest site at the University of Calgary. the female had a transmitter and they had to change batteries but could not last year as she had her chicks already.
I did not get there today but will tomorrow for sure. I had 3 batches of Easter bread to make. Just done now.
I hope our male is O.K.
They are late for Calgary so ....

Calgary is about a 2 1/2 to 3 hour drive from Edmonton?? - Around there anyway. - so as the 'Peregrine' flies, it would be shorter!! :o

Two peregrine falcons have been sighted in Calgary, Alberta - near the University there. I am just poking around the internet to see if Alberta has any sightings at all yet and found that-there is a nest site there so might be their pair. Someone spotted them on Wednesday of this week.
Not sure of the distance between Calgary and Edmonton but might give us a hint as to whether any are headed here.

George and Weezie seem to be enjoying the holiday ... they're awfully cuddly today. :-*
Loriann:
One of the Ravens on the nest right now and some very large sticks in the box.. amazing they can fly up there with those big long sticks in tow.
