Well it's kinda in the right place, it's with Radisson's mom and dad so no worries.  You had me panicked for a sec, I thought oh no there's raven's at P&T's building now  :o

Liz, did you mean to post about the ravens here?  Radisson and Dad have only been back 1 week now ... so there is still time for them to nest.  Trey and Princess were back end of March.

Me too maggieblue...
This is the first time I've witnessed the ravens being out of the box for that long...and now going in and out and being on alert!  I don't like this one bit!!

Please oh please, no fighting !!

I just hope Bev and/or Eli is there just in case.

Mrs was back briefly at least twice that I saw over the past 4 and a bit hours.  I missed this last visit which sounds shorter than the others.  Both times she was restless and not settling on the egg and staying near the back wall.  She was vocalizing a fair bit too.  Has any one seen Mr Raven or both?

One of the ravens is finally back in the nestbox and looking very upset.  Don't know what is going on, but hopefully our eyes on the ground Bev and/or Eli will have a report.  Still hoping for the best possible outcome here, i.e. ravens moving on to another location and no major injuries to any birds.

Something must be going on outside as the ravens were not there for about 3 hours, then one appeared, and now is gone again!  I don't like this!

... If the peregrines won, George and/or Weezie could have been badly injured/killed and their chicks dead/eggs discarded before hatching.  If the peregrines were injured or killed, a loss of a nest for this year and a breeding pair (with new genes from our project) lost to the Alberta population and the Canadian population.
That's it in a nutshell.  This is all about Radisson and her mate for me.   :)

I've been watching for quite awhile, while sipping my red wine, and the cam is refreshing. The nest has been empty for a minimum of 2 hours!  So, I'm not sure what's happening down there.  Hope nothing bad!
No more fighting!
