U of Alberta - 2009 / Damon & Radisson
bev.:
Female came back April10 and the male on april11
Now because of the raven thing, they could have been copulating elsewhere.
so they went into nest for first time Monday April 20. So I am guessing there was copulation before I saw it.
Her stance and everything now is nest box is same as when she laid here first egg last year. Well I think she was crouched a bit more but she was facing a different direction . Maybe practicing for the real deal.
I have to go out tomorrow morning but I am going into watch mode just in case

Guess she was just having a little nap, she's gone now. Speaking of naps...this old bird is going for one now! Have a good night everyone!
carly:
April 9th and 10th are the dates of arrival. When I start mixing Radisson and Trey up - I know it's bed time..lol!
Don't know about the fooling around, only bev has seen that :-\ But I'd say it's almost time!!
The Peregrine Chick:
Took almost a month before Trey & Princess laid their first egg this year. It will take a minimum of 2 weeks after the onset of successful copulation so better to err on the side of 3 weeks. What date did she first arrive back? Did the male arrive at the same time? Anyone note when copulation was first observed? If we have any/all this information, we could make a better guess-timate.
Not much help I know .... :-\

I was thinking the same thing the last few days.
what do you think TPC. You think we are close to eggs. I am going to be watching carefully.
I have a few more pictures to post later.
