He has a  black band on his left leg I believe. I guess it depends how you are looking at him. One band is silver an done is black. He is the resident male. I just want to make sure it is still him. He has been here for awhile and was born in Edmonton.
Band is O/Y
He is so hard to get a reading.
I will have more time tomorrow to just sit here
It is easier to catch him when she lays an egg.

I just saw the end of that nestbox visit too.
Does the male have an all black band on his right leg? And, if so, what does that mean?  Were the male's bands read last year and is there a history on him?
Every time Radisson sits in the box for a while I wonder if she will leave a little something behind  :D

Was that Radisson and dad just now or did I just see her reflection?  Thought I saw 2 bowing.

Someone is sitting on top of that white tower preening in the morning sunshine.  I haven't seen them sitting there before.

I don't know if Radisson spent the night or not but she was at the nestbox at dawn, shortly after 5 Edmonton time.

So Carly, when you said she had a few feathers out of place that is because she was being naughty with dad ;) ;)
And she kept going in and out because I guess she was tired of waiting for dad to make his move. ;D ;D

she  was vocal enough , that is for sure.

here is a slide show of what happened. I wish I had been more on the ball and snapped each cam but I was so baffled.

so I will be watching closely at times tomorrow to make sure male is the same. I am sure it is and I think maybe greedy mom :o :o came out quickly and dad either fell of or flew off and dropped food. Looking at it now I think that is what happened. If you notice mom has a bit in her mouth.
click on picture for slide show.
