It's cool, wet, windy and crappy here to Bev.  Angel has her girls up against the wall and she's trying to keep them dry.  It's so windy here she almost blew off the nestbox at one point..she lost her balance.  But they have been fed twice that I've seen so they are well prepared it seems  :D

May 2-4 is always crappy here too...I think that's probably how it got it's name...you go camping, it's so crappy out you drink a 2-4 of beer cause there is nothing else to do...lol  ::)

If you are looking at the cam and see white spots, Yup!!!!!It is snow again. It is D_ _ _ _ cold

And yes, it is  because it is the May long weekend. It used to signify the beginning of the camping season here also. But as long as I can remember now it has been crumby weather. The odd one is O.K. Our weather is supposed to be nice on Saturday and then dip again and more rain and maybe more snow.

I am trying to put a positive spin on this and say at least the leaves are not out full yet. ;) ;)

It is bel ow zero. Edmonton is usually a few degrees warmer than me because of the city element.

I am sure  Radisson and Damon are thinking. Mexico, Edmonton, Mexico, Edmonton????????

Thanks for the thumbs up on Damon's name. I thought it applied to him also.

I think we always tend to remember the better times.
I just remember May long weekends being cold and wet wherever I was!  Playing competitive fast -pitch in shorts and it was cold and wet.

Hope that Edmonton doesn't see any more snow!  Let's all hope that the white stuff stops falling from the sky and the white fluffy stuff is only pertaining to little white chicks  :D
