Just had a feeding at 7:35am EDT.
I could see 3 chicks clearly and lots of egg shell, so I'm not yet sure if that last egg was a dud and is now broken or if there was a small chick hiding behind the chickpile. Must keep watching!

After feeding, Father came into the nest to take his turn, but Mother only gave him a second or two before she arrived back on the ledge and glared at him, so he hopped off and she's now settling over the chicks. Poor Father didn't get his turn with them!

I seem to recall last year or 2008, she had one egg that didn't hatch and she kept it around for quite awhile ... does anyone else remember that?

...Still one egg. It looks like it has pips, but no chick yet. If there is a chick, s/he is lagging behind.
I am reminded of the Shel Silverstein poem "I Won't Hatch"...
LOL! Thanks for that poem, baffled! Yes, I do remember it!  ;)

Feeding time! Three chicks quite eager, and the occasional faceplant.
Still one egg. It looks like it has pips, but no chick yet. If there is a chick, s/he is lagging behind.

I am reminded of the Shel Silverstein poem "I Won't Hatch":

Oh I am a chickie who lives in an egg,
But I will not hatch, I will not hatch.
The hens they all cackle, the roosters all beg,
But I will not hatch, I will not hatch.
For I hear all the talk of pollution and war
As the people all shout and the airplanes roar,
So I’m staying in here where it’s safe and it’s warm,
And I WILL NOT HATCH!

Mom? doing a great job of hiding the chicks while she reaches for gravel, and seems to be obsessed with eating it...
Do peregrines actually eat gravel, like chickens do? ???

Apparently they do, helps with digestion...kinda like your fibre does for humans I hear.  TPC, do I have that right?

It looked to me that two chicks were being fed, a pipped egg in front of them and another egg barely glimpsed behind them.

Mom? doing a great job of hiding the chicks while she reaches for gravel, and seems to be obsessed with eating it. At one point she leaned so far she rolled over, but with her back to the camera, so still no sight of chicks. Then she stood up, settled her feathers and turned around. There was one egg out in front of her. She looked at it for a moment, as if saying "What is that doing out there?", then rolled it back under, and actually stood high enough that I could see two chicks (could have been more, couldn't tell). Now she has settled down, except for the occasional glare at the camera.
