Thanks for the info, TPC!  I think I can see a second egg there now :)

She hopped in and inspected the first egg, then had a go at trying hard for another, with fluffing and "crouching" and shuffling, and then checking underneath.
Now she is back on the ledge contemplating life.

The lovely Dot has been hanging about the nest box for most of the afternoon.  She may be coming up to the second egg laying!

Thanks for this info, TPC, I just learned 2 new things about peregrine falcons! 8)

The Peregrine Chick:
Eggs are laid on average about 48 hours apart, so they are doing just fine so far (first egg on the 11th).  Incubation won't start until the penultimate (second last) egg is laid, so y'all will still need to wait a bit longer ...
