When we saw the 2 remaining in the box last night, one was so much smaller and darker so I thought it was one of the girl's..... ???

Well the update on the Elk River site said there were 2 boys and 1 girl - so I figured if there's a boy and a girl left in the nest, then the one who fell out must be a boy? - I think the smaller darker one is a boy and the bigger one with all the fluff is a girl..? ???

it says somewheres, after they were banded that there were two boys and one girl. Actually it says right beneath the pic that there are 2 males and one girl. soooooo If the ones left are one big and one small, then that means one of the small ones (boy) was the one that jumped yesterday. :) :)

Loulou, thanks for the heads up on the update at the GRE site, it was a relief to here the little one is safe and to see a picture - now that I've seen him I believe it .. :D.
I agree with you all about the eagle forum. Oddly enough, that was where I had heard about P&T originally and about the Great River cam. My boss knew I was crazy about the peregrine babies on top of our office building so she sent me a link to the eagle site thinking I would enjoy seeing the babies. Long story short, I poked through the forum and found a post about the Manitoba babies and the rest is history.
