Okay - Chase just hopped out of camera range - but I don't think he flew.  He just went to the side-ledge we can't see.

Now I can see mom there but the other one went over to the right sidebar when mom flew into the nestbox with the snack.

Hey, I think the one perched right now in front of the nestbox is the other chick!  Check out the down on the side of the wing fluttering in the breeze.  Big mama just dropped off some food.

Ooooh - Parent sitting on outer rail facing nosy boy on inner rail. Maybe a conversation about the fundamentals of getting those wings flapping.. :P....Sis sitting safely in box as usual.  8)

yes Louloubelle, when I first turned it on, he was sitting comfortably on the side bar and then he straddled that, and the first one parrell to the box, then he finally half bounced half flew with wings opened back into box. So I wondered whereas you guys could not see him , just before that, I checked the time of your posts, and so it was just a minute or two before that, that you guys could not see him and that maybe he had ventured further out on the side bar out of view and was just makin his way back when I happened to click on.  Probably.  Cant imagine him fledging then coming right back to box can you?  lol.... I am thinking he would go down,,, and land somewheres below on his first atttempt.

Well they are just sitting there hanging out.  (I Managed to get a coffee. ) One is perched up on ledge, the other resting head on it.  Cute.

wow, that's the most battling I've ever seen, little sis is a fighter and a squawker! Chase may have been on the very outer ledge rather than flying. I went back and looked at the photos posted for last year and there is a second outer ledge and that is where he may have been perched earlier. I saw him return into the box from outer somewhere and he landed solidly and wings open so really can't be sure if he flew or if he was just out of sight ... Why don't they turn on that outer camera! ???

they each grabbed at breakfast but one got more than the other and then attack and more tug of war - they're hungry! Now battling in the corner for whatever is left!

Mom sat on the bar for awhile, then walked hopped out of view out further on the bar.  Oh my , twice a big tug of war.   Female came over and grabbed the food that Chase had, much pullling and tugging, She finally got it and has it in the near corner, he is standing there shocked.  At least I think I have them right, Oh he is reaching between her legs and under her, grabbing at food.  lol..   Comical.

hi I must have just missed that, I turned on the cam and Chase (?) was out sittiing on the bar.  Seemed quite comfortable.  Sister in the box preening and grooming.  After a bit of wing flapping and turning this way and that he kinda hopped flew back in the box.  Wow do you guys think he flew somewheres and came back?  Or did he hop out of site on those bars?  I think there aer 3 or 4 bars out of our view.  wow.
Oh, Mom or Dad here with food.  Oh here, she hopped in and gave it to them.  Big fight, tug of war.  Each in a corner, not sure if they each got half or what.  Mom stayed sitting on the bar this time.

Good Morning all, good day for flying! Not only did Chase leave but he came back a few minutes ago!! He's now on the outside ledge, sis in the box looking out but not perched. I think she likes having the house all to herself... Looks like a little bit of wind, not as much as yesterday, his landing back to the box was solid!
