Our girl is now awake and looking below to see what's going on. She's parked in the middle of the nestbox, not too close to the ledge at all. She's smart sitting in the shade :) ..... now she's gone back to laying down at the back of the nestbox.

adult bird just flew off. listen here is a link I just found on another forum,, shows great pics of the outside of box and where the 1st chick fell and where it is sitting. they have it all circled in red so you really get an idea of what it is like outside that box and around.

One of the parents just landed on the outer bars. You could see him/her flying up to it. Nice view of that. No one seems to be squawking either. So whatever they are doing doesn't seem to be about the birds.

don't see or hear anything right now. can hear a hum from some equipment .... sis is quiet sleeping, head in corner..
