JL:
Well, well, look who's up from her nap and perched on the edge looking around.  Oh, mom just dropped by with lunch...screech, screech, thank you.   ;D

Pchemist:
Don't panic anyone - she just moved int the back corner that is hidden from camera view.  She didn't jump.

Loriann:
And thats precisely how we lost "brooke" here in Mississauga this year.. her BIG brothers 'lured' her out of the box, and down she went in a head wind. poor baby.

we lost "Fern" the same way last year.

Boys..  >:(

The Peregrine Chick:
When the last chick in the box is a female it is more than a little nerve-wracking to watch.  They usually aren't quite ready to fly but they do not like being left behind by their sibs ... particularly if their sibs are now able to fly after the adults (part of their training to fly and hunt).  For the last chick in the box its like everyone gets to stay up late except them  :D

msdolittle:
She sure doesn't seem very steady . kinda awkward when she starts flapping those wings.  looked like she was going to fall off the ledge there at one point.
