streeeeeeetch.  sure seems like she want to go to the outer ledge, but just can't get up the courage.  kinda like me as a kid from the high-dive board. 

deedream:
okay, lightening up from a nap, decided to pluck some feathers out of her food in the near corner, does seem to be a pretty intact bird.  plucking, spitting feathers not sure if she is getting any food yet or not.  lol 

Elaine L:
From what I have seen of Lightning this morning, she still prefers that mom or dad feed her; she is not that keen on plucking the unlucky victim herself and then chowing down.  So, she now has food lying around the nest.  Mind you, she will fight for the food if she thinks the others want it.  This reminds me of my dog, who may not want her food, but she does not want any other dog to have it, either.  The more I watch the falcons, the more I see the similarities between them and our four-legged companions.

deedream:
she still has food in the near corner as well that she did not finish from earlier. well she did a bunch of wing flapping and stretches,, looked like she might attemt to jump out on a bar, now just nosing around her box, may be eating what is in the near corner. 

deedream:
okay,, I was sure she was going to jump on that near bar, if she does she will be gone from view probably for good.
