yes I see that too Pchemist.  wonder what they are up to today?  Haven't heard any squawking for awhile. Hey I woke up around 5:30 my time, 3:30 elk river time, and Chase and Bullet were holding the fort down, perching, and little (big) girl was sleeping.  Felt good all over seeing them there.  I should have left the volume up and got a wake up call as I slept in. lol  around 8 am I seen who I thought was Dad having a snack, but Aline thinks it was a chick.  Great pictures Aline.  It is so hysterical watching them run around the box isn't it? 


Hopefully they will all be back again tonight.

It's really quiet.  I see a truck/crane/big unidentified thing down below, and hear some noise that sounds like hydraulics.  Might be keeping our family away.  I'd love to think it's there to get the other camera going, but I'm sure they have other things to do, like run the power plant....

All the chicks have left the nestbox this morning.  I turned on around 5:30 local time.

I expect we will see little of them now, unless the turn the outside cam on.

Second chick decides he doesn't want to stay alone in the nest box, takes prey away to eat elsewhere with family ?    6:15 local time

This is too funny, a 2nd chick came with a prey, the first one ran to the corner bottom right, then turned around and stole prey from 2nd chick.  This one got to the corner and stole the 1st prey, and first chick left with the 2nd prey.

A chick is in the nest now with a prey, enjoying it.  I can hear another one from a distance.

 Sure is heartwarming to see the whole fam-damily hangin' out at the ol' stomping grounds!!  ...If they don't get that outside cam going tomorrow I guess we're outta luck - maybe it's not working. ? Anyhoo, just when we thought they were all gone, it's a great bonus to be able to watch for a bit longer!

How wonderful this is!  When there was big-time noise earlier we came in and watched and I told my fiance who was there and such.  He also wants the outside cam turned on now!  hopefully tomorrow.  I'm so delighted to see all three hanging out together on the ledge!

Looks like Bullet and Chase are standing watch while Lightning sleeps.  Ahhh, such good brothers.

thats totally Chase perched on the ledge, have watched him for many nites inthat exact position, and Lightning laying down with her head on ledge, as always, and tonite.... a bonus.,,,,,,,,, Bullet is back,,,,,, I am so so happy to see him so healthy, and obviously flying,, cause he was down below a few stories, and has figured out how to get back up here, and all that, I am so glad, I have been worried. He is still out on the bar, maybe he will come inside later for the nite. seems like a nice nite there anyhow so all should be okay. What a wonderful way to end my day to see this.

I don't use RealPlayer.  I watch with Windows Media Player and I capture screen shots with FRAPS, I use Photobucket as host site to be able to post on forums.  But this is off topic and I will get my fingers slapped and my post erased and maybe banned from this place for telling you.
