JL:
Eli, all that happened in like 10 seconds. They were so quick. They dove off the ledge and disappeared in a second. Looking back I see my misspells. I was typing too fast because I was so excited and surprised to see them both at the nestbox. :)
Elaine L:
I can't believe I missed this. I was watching her, she was picking around in the nest box, and then she was looking at something, but I could not see what - I had no idea her mate was around! And I looked away for one minute to do something else, and all this happened.
JL:
My, my, she's with her mate. Both of them are at the nestbox! Did anyone else see? She was on the ledge, then hopped into the nestbox, then in flew her mate onto the ledge. Now they've both hopped onto the side out of site and then I saw one fles off followed by the other. ;D
JL:
She's back! I was sure that I saw the last of her when she hung out almost all day yesterday; it shouldn't be too long now. It looks like she's enjoying the weather and doing a bit of preening. :)
JL:
It's totally amazing that they can etch that in their minds and find their way back!
