I do remember you telling us that before but I'm wondering because 30b was only banded when she was injured a few years ago - if she might have been hatched on a cliff herself.  I guess we will never know  :(

The Peregrine Chick:

If she finds a new site, which given that its still early in the year is very likely, chances are she will choose a nestbox site.  We have found that urban birds tend (not always of course) but mostly tend to choose the familiar nest site configurations, i.e., a nestbox vs a cliff ledge.  Its one of the reasons urban nestsites have done so well.  The Raptor Resource folks are good at tracking birds, so hopefully we will hear soon.

There was just 2 of them in there.  Is it me or for a minute does it almost sound like they are upset and you're not sure if they are friends or not?  Lol..and they they tone it down a bit and one takes off!!

maggieblue:
The sound just came back on.  Just in time to hear an eechupping (sp?) falcon.  ;D

Good morning!  8:01 EST and someone just flew into the box..I miss the sound  ???  I see their mouth moving but nothing is coming out..lol!  Still very windy there, feathers blowing in the wind!

Here is the link and hopefully when they find out where she is we can all cheer her on!
