allikat:
Why is it that both male and female falcons (the pair) don't stay in the nest together at night?
Just curious....
birdcamfan:
Really weird. She did just do some preening so she CAN move.
Liz:
It's normal at this site. They are mesmerized by the light, it seems. Last summer the three kids lined up together on the ledge and stared out all night long, night after night. Well, sometimes Lightning would take a nap, but I never saw the boys do that last year.
allikat:
I know!!!
It's so strange to see that. I thought the same thing the other night, meaning, I thought she was going to lay an egg because she was staring out into the unknown, I was completely wrong. Apparently this is normal???
msdolittle:
she is amazing .. really ... it's like she just zones out. she did look kind of puffy earlier ... i thought she was up to something.
