O.K. forget about the eggshell.  Figure out how to get that wet chick underneath you.  :D

Second job for Dad: nest-cleaning. He's already at the pebbles and he hasn't been on the chicks very long at all.
Looks like he's having quite a job scooting the newest chick in underneath!

And Dad's in for the brooding, finally. First job: eating eggshell.

Dad you can toss one egg to the side, you just have one egg left to incubate and it won't be longer for that one either lol

scrawny little bugger when it first hatches!  soon it will be a fluffball though.  :)  then comes "the awkward stage" ....

And there are three.   ;D  The 2 oldest sound like they want dinner.  Poor little new arrival is still all pink and wet.

Gee, you sure can hear the Canada Geese going by, loud and clear; they don't seem to bother our falcon mom, but it sure sounded like they were flying by about a foot away from the nest.
I must have missed the geese, or it might have been Mom.  She has a very unusual call and half the time sounds like she is quacking when she greets the male, usually to tell him to go away.  She really sounds like a duck half the time, sometimes a softly calling duck and sometimes a loud and very annoyed duck. :D
