ha! food tug of war between parent and chick and chick pulls parent into the nestbox! but parent prevails and beak feeding them now.

Update for June 19, 2009:
The Great River Energy – Elk River Station falcon family suffered a loss on June 17, with the sudden death of the young female eyass Bella. It has been determined that her death was caused by a micro-organism called Trichomoniasis, which comes from eating infected pigeons. The remaining three eyasses have been treated with an antibiotic and are doing well at this time. We are monitoring them very closely.
