Well..so much for my "ledgewalkers" comment...seems that two have fledged!
They just grow way too fast.
Pchemist:
I hope so too, Liz! I wish they'd switch to that other camera, in fact! give us a better chance of seeing the others. :) (it's all about us, of course)
Liz:
What a shock to tune in and see only one left! I hope they update the note soon, and give us a pic like past year when Chase took off early.
Marie:
:)first time posting here.Been watching a lot today in hopes of seeing the last chick take to flight...he seems to really want to go but just a little scared. think he's encouraged from his brothers below ;D Hope he has a safe flight
Pchemist:
--- Quote from: willmax11 on June 23, 2009, 12:48 --- Parent dropped off a rodent for the remaining chick. I think a sibling followed the parent and landed on the ledge, looked at the meal being hidden in the corner and took off.
Last year the chicks returned to the nest for the night. Flying must be so much fun but home is where they feel safe.

doubt it was a rodent. probably a de-winged and de-feathered bird with a limp leg mimicking a rodent tail. too many birds to hunt there to be bothered with going to ground for rodents.
cam is not working for me now though. :(
