Usually takes a couple of weeks after successful copulation before the first eggs are laid. Nice thing about pairs that know each other is that "successful" copulation usually happens earlier in the copulation cycle than for newlyweds. And I'm never sure if the Brandon birds don't have some rendezvous point before they get to Brandon when they start laying eggs sooner than expected based on their behaviour in town.
Looking forward to your first suspicion that they are laying eggs RCF!! Pretty sure they will be our first nest this year.
