England / Norwich - Norwich Cathedral - 2015 / not named

<< < (2/3) > >>

Alison:
All four chicks hatched at the Norwich nest. Very sadly, the youngest chick died on May 5.  :'( The other three chicks have continued to do well.

Alison:
Norwich has three chicks this morning! Haven't had a good look at them yet.

Alison:
We posted about the pips in the eggs at the exact same time, TPC!  :)

Alison:
One of the 2013 chicks from the Bath nest site at St. John's Church showed up last week on the crockets at Norwich Cathedral. She is banded GA, and there have been no sightings of her from the time she left her original nest site until now. Norwich is close to 200 miles from Bath.

When she turned up at the cathedral, the male was incubating. He immediately knew something was going on, and took off to investigate.

I love it when juvies from previous years turn up somewhere.

Alison:
No chicks yet, but there are pips in two of the eggs. Video from the site.
