The Peregrine Chick:
2010 Resident Pair
male: Doorly - 1999 wild-hatch from Omaha, Nebraska - Manitoba great-grandchick through Winnie (Trey's half-sister)
female: Hope - 2002 wild-hatch from Omaha, Nebraska - Doorly & Hope are half-sibs
Doorly and Hope had been nesting at Westart Building from 2004 but until 2007 they were unsuccessful because Doorly broke the eggs during incubation. In 2007 Doorly got the hang of parenthood and its been smooth sailing ever since.
Doorly is brother to Husker (Red Wing, Minnesota), Goldie (Fargo, North Dakota) and Tower (Kansas City, Missouri)
Hope is the daughter of Amelia who is the niece of Madame who was our second Radisson female and Trey's Mom.
Offspring:
2007 - AJ (male)
2008 - Beaky (female)
2009 - Sampson (male)
2010 - Wes (male) and Star (female)

Looking at one of the photos of the two chicks side by side at the end of the Westar photo gallery, 46/X is Wes, 45/X is Star based on size. I have checked all the records and at this point there are no references to which band went on which chick. When the database is updated later this year (usually in the fall), I will confirm these identies when I update our records as well. But from the photos, I would be surprised if they weren't as I've "guessed" here.
