There is a webcam somewhere in Israel which follows a family of Short-toed Eagles (
Circaetus Gallicus). For the safety of the birds, the location is not disclosed.
These birds build a nest in a tree, and lay one egg, which is incubated for about 45 - 47 days. Fledging takes place somewhere between 60 and 80 days after the chick hatches.
I think the chick in this nest will be fledging soon, since he (or she) has aready ventured onto a branch. The nest is in a carob tree.
