Radisson - 2018 / Pip & Princess

Somebirdie sitting on the West Nest ledge around 9:40am today - Not a very white breast - hope it's Princess claiming her nesting spot!!

Saw a falcon flying over/around the River this afternoon (Assiniboine) - making quite a racket!

No sign of any visitors in the nest box, I've been checking the cam today also.

Those jets flying over last night were so thunderous, I wouldn't be surprised if they left the city completely.  - I can't even imagine how they handled it - Yikes. 

Well, I've only checked a few times today, but so far I haven't seen Pip or Princess on cam ... anyone know their whereabouts?

I don't think Pip and Princess will enjoy the street party and two CF-18 jets flying overhead this evening. Hopefully it won't affect them too much.

If Princess is thinking of nesting on the nestledge then I hope the party it annoys her royally and flounces up to the nestbox in a huff!!!  Have trouble visualizing Princess in a huff ...

so happy they are back, wish it warm up a little though.  Saw 2 flying this morning while waited for the bus, they flew towards the river towards the Forks

The video was great! The shadow at the back of the box was very good at showing the highs and lows of the scrape.
