Any more news of Beatrix?
Will she be released back into the wild?
I guess it's too late for her to nest this year.
And anyway, her Winnipeg nest has been taken over by Faith this year.
The Peregrine Chick:
Perfectly good question GCG - so far they have had some storms blow through and she is recovering but they want her stronger before she's re-released. And they are the ones who are dealing with her day-to-day so we rely on their assessment. And they have been consulting with rehabbers up here so there are lots of folks with lots of experience keeping an eye on her progress.
I will be sure to let folks know when we get closer to her release! :)

I have a relative in the area and thought this would be a problem for release. In addition, this is in tornado alley and the season is beginning.

There is major flooding in the Houston area - that's where the state of emergency is. Dallas-Fort Worth is north of there.
