With all the Winnipeg and Texas media coverage about Beatrix, thought I would give you the hard facts ...
Just so folks know ...
* It was Carly here on the Forum who passed along the information & band number that a Winnipeg bird might be in Texas and that was how we confirmed her identity.
* The folks from the BBL initially thought it was a Toronto bird then confirmed it was Beatrix from Winnipeg (that darn line between the band numbers).
* We don't know yet if anything is wrong with Beatrix's eye(s) but the folks in Texas are concerned hence the reason for the vet visit
* We don't have solid plans for her return/release yet, there are just lots of ideas being bounced around as possibilities.
* The folks in Texas want to help anyway they can to get her up here safely (hence the GoFundMe campaign), what way that will be depends on the outcome of the visit to the vet.
