Positive ID for this year's pair
THE PAIR'S ARRIVAL
are happy to confirm that this season sees the return of the same pair of birds who nested here last year.
Early last week, a viewer caught a glimpse of a different male bird at the nest box. This bird was actually a male that hatched in Grand Forks, ND in 2012. More than likely, this bird was merely stopping off on its way back to the region.
A few days later, the same male who has been in Fargo for the last several years reappeared. He was positively identified by his leg band *C/7.

According to the chat on the cam page, Annie and Miracle were seen mating on the camera arm, must be someone who watches from the ground. ;D
Also Audubon Dakota posted on the chat that they haven't seen Walsh, since someone reported seeing him here last week. He was likely stopping off on his way further north.
The Peregrine Chick:
Whoo hoo, get to change the subject line finally!!
Thanks RCF :)
RCF:
Annie is back! Hope they play nice and nobody gets hurt!
Alison:
Thank you for the update on the Fargo nest site. I don't do Livestream, but I had seen a video of the birds. I knew Miracle was back, but I had also noticed that the male was not Annie.
I hope Annie will return, but at the same time it is good to know that Walsh from Grand Forks has turned up. I wonder where he has been since 2012?
