The Peregrine Chick:
That chick looks to be doing well - nice to see!! Last year's chick - Orozco - did quite well as I recall, hopefully (knock on wood) this little tot will do likewise.
Chick is 5 days old, so halfway to being able to thermoregulate which is always the first hurdle for hatchlings. Some rain forecasted to be on the way (https://weather.com/weather/tenday/l/Lincoln+NE+USNE0283:1:US) but it seems to be for thunderstorms so the POP could change depending on the daily temperatures it looks like ... fingers crossed the weather forecasters are overly optimistic about the precipitation for the next month ...
