Went to see the "Birds in Flight" show this afternoon at the Assiniboine Park Zoo. It stopped raining long enough for the show to proceed. Saw a bald eagle, a red tailed hawk, a ferruginous hawk, a great horned owl and a lanner falcon. Was well worth the trip to the Zoo! Thanks for recommending it, Dennis. :-*

What a delight to find that they were using one of my favorite owls...a young Great Horned Owl. I must say that I have crossed paths with Great Horned Owls a couple times before !

This will be the last week-end to catch the birds in flight at the Zoo.
