Oh Pam, I really am getting the idea. I've been sneaking peeks at lots of his photos I've found here and there. At first I wished he had been at my house to capture the various "bird" moments I've experienced (like the time I was lucky enough to see the wood duck chicks jump from the box - we've had the box up for years but I've seen this event only once. Or the time a huge pileated woodpecker visited our trees for a few hours). How I'd love to have photos of those moments. But then I realized I do have those moments in my head. Far better that we get to see his moments!

We will have a ID guide for all the Manitoba birds we know are nesting here and away shortly on the Project website if you want to check there .... probably next week.
