If anyone is interested in learning more about nature, but has never been a member of a naturalists society, please consider joining your local chapter.  As you can see from the Nature Manitoba (formerly the Manitoba Naturalists Society) newsletter, they have a great selection of activities and a huge collection of experts on hand.  And its the same with all naturalists society!  Nature Manitoba even has a winter lecture series for when we can't find Nature for all the snow!

What a treasure!  Lucky find - I have to go to more garage sales!  I would definitely buy keychains, calendars or any other Peregrine paraphenalia - great way to raise funds for the Project!

What?! :o Someone sold one of Dennis's photo's of Trey at a garage sale?! :o Now who on earth would do that?! :o ;) That photo might have fetched a lot of money on e-bay! ;) Well, at least it has fallen into the right hands, 2kawaii! ;D

'Fraid I'm going to have to cop to this one, most the time the paper wants a story, the weather isn't good for the birds (or they are the nest ledge) so I steer them to Dennis photo gallery or send them photos myself.  And I admit, love being able to get his photos in the paper!

You'd better watch CTV news too then as Dennis  submits pictures to them as well. He had pictures of Canada geese on there one day.  Who knows which day they'll pick a peregrine picture?   ;D

Also noticed that quite often the Free Press will have bird pictures with Dennis being the photographer.

And one of my best finds this spring at a garage sale.....a Dennis photo --- Trey from 2007 on top of one of the building towers downtown.  :)

Actually, I have been thinking of producing a version of those inspirational posters - not posters but 8 x 12 photos with inspirational sayings ... a 30th anniversary item showcasing Dennis photos - and not just peregrine photos ...

I wonder if Dennis would be willing to have his photos put onto keychains, magnets, mugs, Bumperstickers.........all those kinds of doo-dads might do well in the Online Store???... Like the wonderful calendar - but all year round type thing!! ???
