bccs:
"Well I agree with most of that Bccs but the fledging still makes me twitch I'm afraid ...  "

I understand the uneasiness at the choice of the nest this year.

But I do think that is a pretty good place for the kids to fledge from.
1. There are many buildings that are the same height or just a bit lower than the nest ledge.
2. Getting back to the ledge will be easier as they do not have to attain the same height as the
    nest box.
3. There are fewer buildings the same or even close to the height of the nest box, making it a
bit more strenuous to get back there.

There are pros and cons to each site.
All I am saying is that it's not a death sentence for the chicks to be hatched and raised on the east.

bev.:
maybe she will rethink her decision. we have seen them change locations before. Sherraton back in 2007 or 2008, the year before Rhea mea. left eggs and laid on other end

Think positive.

The Peregrine Chick:
Where the egg was laid yesterday and where it has been blown to today by 1400h CDT

The Peregrine Chick:
1351h CDT - egg has rolled northwards ...

MayShowers:
I just want to say how happy I am for Princess and Smiley to have their first egg, even if she did choose the east-side nest ledge:)
