Haven't seen Princess in a few days and then I saw a female on the nestbox edge and I wondered if it might be the West Winnipeg melee female ... but no, it was Princess have a very long, luxurious preen in the setting sun. Nice to see her here still, she tends to migrate early and it seems this year that fall is coming sooner than we'd like and likely the peregrines will leave sooner than we'd like ... :'(

We certainly have had a few nasty storms here in Winnipeg lately - and more to come, I hear. I hope all of our PF's are fairing well, or have at least left town for a more pleasant climate. :P
