Mom is acting as an umbrella this morning with a white fringe moving around the edges.  Can't see all of them but all looks good here once again. ;)

Just checked on the family here and all were up and having breakfast.  Mom was so gentle with the last hatch and fed it near the end all by him/herself.  All is well in this household. ;)

...maybe this "chick-falling-over" thing is genetic - dad just brought in a food package, and mom was so eager to grab it, SHE over-reached and practically did a face-plant... ;D

Happy to know they were all up and in the"chow line"!  Always wonder about how the littlest one is going to make out with the older sibs :-\

...fun watching the parent try to stuff 4 chicks back underneath them - they don't roll as well as the eggs did... :D

Just watched a feeding but because of where the camera is it is hard to see past Mom. Did notice the new hatch had fallen over on its back and was just "swimming" to get righted.  Never did ..so just fell asleep where it was. Mom came back in and I am sure will get the wee one back in the direction it should be and under the wing where it is warm.  Cute  babies!!

...they must all be alike at heart, the females...still watching this feeding;  there was a front and centre pile of 3 chicks in front of mom, and one at the back.  The one at the back kept reeeeaching for the food, but would keep falling over, and by the time it got up again, the food had been distributed to one of it's siblings...however, mom did finally move around when the front 3 started getting sated, and gave more attention to the back one, who seemed to have some trouble grabbing the food from mom.  I'm not worried, I think that this is just the most recently hatched chick - I suspect it takes several feedings before they get the full hang of ripping the food out of mom's beak and away from their siblings  ;D...  The older 3 seem to have very little trouble now...

...dad was just babysitting the chick pile for a few minutes, mom came back with a food package for lunch;  it's amazing how fast the male gets the heck out of the way when mom comes charging back in flinging orders around... ;D

So glad you saw all 4.  Last I looked, Mom was in the way during the feeding and I couldn't see if it was 3 or 4. Good news ;)

Appears to be more scattered shell today so hopefully the last egg hatched.  Will check back again to see if I can verify that.

Mom shuffled around a bit and it appears the egg is still underneath with the fluffies.  Maybe by morning we will have another chick! ;D
