jadoo:
...just watched one of the parents SWOOP in with a food package - (the angle of the camera makes it look like the bird is going to fly straight out of your computer screen...)  One of the chicks still has a lot more fluff left than the other  - is that an age difference thing, or is one just more efficient at de-fluffing than the other?

jadoo:
...WOW, these chicks have grown, they almost look like peregrines (instead of fluffballs)...hope we find out how the fledging went once they take the plunge (so to speak, i know they don't plunge, per se)...

The Peregrine Chick:

Nope on the 23 then the 24th of May thats why I think 1 boy and 1 girl but they aren't banding them so we might never know

You'll know easily enough when they fledge, the size difference between males/females is exceedingly easy to see.  And if they are the same sex, then it will still be easy to figure them out in relation to their parents ...

--- Quote from: BigBird on June 24, 2009, 15:08 ---i find it odd that they aren't banding them but they are asking people to come out when to make sure the "fledge" is successful. That really surprised me....

Maybe they are going to see if they need rescued and if they do, then do it
Did that make any sense at all I know what I want to say but it doesn't come out right
