Vimy is so beautiful, it’s nice to see her up close! :)
She tried eating a few scraps of the food at times, but is likely still sad without her sister. :'(

Was fledge watching downtown this afternoon btw 2:00 & 3:00 PM. Spotted a juvie on the nest ledge, to the extreme right of the nest box. Also spotted a PF tucked into the cross bar on the "H" at the Hydro Bldg. Wasn't sure if it was a juvenile or an adult. :-\

Thanks Sparkster. The bird in question flew like a juvie, not like a mature adult. And I did not see any prey in it's talons. And, I did not notice a bird leaving the nest box.
However, that being said, we do blink and momentarily look away. So, who knows.
I saw 4 birdies, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. ;D

5:40-5:45 would have been my estimate, too, as I arrived shortly after 5:30 and it was a few minutes after that. She flapped her wings "like crazy" as she circled and then went into the box. After reading the report of the timelines of the recordings, I was wondering if we saw Smiley doing the food drop off but our sighting was definitely later than 5:33, and I think we would have seen him carrying the prey and also flying off afterward.

She was just in the nest box, stood up and jumped out and onto the ledge.
Camera is stuttering again.
