This is a very attractive area in southwest Scotland. There are four main falls in the area, and there is also a wild peregrine nest.
On the left is one of the main falls, Corra Linn; the other photos are of one of the resident peregrines.
Last year, the peregrines laid only one egg, which they incubated way past the projected hatch date. Unfortunately, it did not hatch. In 1913, they also had only one egg, and the same thing happened; it did not hatch. They have raised chicks in the past at this site.
