And just to spice things up, TR Mom may now be cheating on Jack with Milton  :o :o

I will just post the link to Mathews Blog as it's a long one day but she's been seen flying with Milton while Jack was babysitting the kids ...  and he was around yesterday apparently one of the residents said.  Could get interesting... :-\

Just noticed the rename of this thread.
I know Milton was there soon after his release, but is he still, days later, able to avoid Jack's notice by hanging out on the opposite side of the building?

Why was Milton in rehab? ???

He was found on the ground with an injured wing - well on a balcony really.  No one is sure what happened as there were no eye witnesses that day.

Haven't had a chance to look at the release videos yet, but love the photo of Milton, who is a beautiful tiercel.

I was surprised, to say the least, at the decision to release him right in the middle of the breeding season. I hope he will stay safe.

that video brought tears to my eyes.
And where did they expect that he would go. this site is the one he knows.
I hope he stays safe

I do wish Jack would just go back to angel and leave him here.

Just got an email from Mathew.  Jack is at his site right now.  NO sign of Milton but he says Jack looks pretty relaxed and not stressed.  Hopefully Milton will bide his time before he makes a move.  No doubt he would have been surprised to see his mate on eggs too.  I will go out tomorrow to see what I can see.

ps: TPC, love the title modification.. ;D  ;)

Mathew has the release video of the newly named Milton aka TR Male up on his site.  Have to admit, I got teary seeing him fly off.  And boy did he NOT hesitate for a nano second, he was like lightening...straight for home!  He's cute too, hope Jack doesn't hurt him  :-\

Apr 1, 2010 - 420 Booty-call starring Mr. Loverman (from Mathew's site)

From shortly after 4PM until 430 I was able to partake in the gorgeous weather, hang out with the friendly neighbourhood dog club, and witness even more falcon mating.

I initially heard a falcon calling from far over yonder, and heard and saw one at the nest ledge returning the calls. Eventually Jack left the building to meet his mate.

The episode was brief, lots of flailing wings and an awkward balancing act, followed by Jack returning to the building to (I guess) don his smoking jacket and pipe and chill out. Mom remained at the tree, possibly thinking "is that it?", only judging from the expression on her face...

Apparently, Jack's mate at Bloor & Islington may now be incubating eggs, which naturally leaves Jack with more free time on his talons. Nice to see he still likes hanging out over here. It seems safe to say incubation is not underway here.
