Linder:
Still bonding and scraping going on in the nest box as well as canoodling on the ledge. Who knows when the first egg will be laid. ???
The Peregrine Chick:
Don't know how long until eggs, but they have one yo-honking scrape going there!! :o
susha:
Upside down or right-side up - there are birds at the nest!! And where there's a male and a female Peregrine, can eggs be far behind?!? ;D
RCF:
Not too sure who is who? I think L'll Dad is in the nest and NG (new girl) on the ledge. As you can see I had to rotate the picture because it's playing upsidedown ::)
The Peregrine Chick:
--- Quote from: susha on February 21, 2011, 11:19 ---Had the great pleasure of seeing a Peregrine sitting on the nest edge yesterday. Sure was great to see a falcon again! Can't wait for some eggs to appear. ;D
Anybody else wondering why the ledge cam view is upside down? ::)
--- End quote ---
Bird back in the "box" right now (12noon), just hunkered down and hanging out. Female from the size. Bird in the "upside down" image is the male by size. Both birds visible at the same time, so definitely the pair, whoever they are :) this year.
The "upside down" cam is pointing at the end of a wooden perch hanging out over the edge of the ledge - you are looking straight down from above - watch for cars driving on the road below or in the parking lot. The edge of the webcam wall is in the top right-hand corner in the "upside down" cam image. The female isn't visible in the "upside down" cam unless she's right be the outside wall, but when she sits on the front edge you can see her on both cams.
She's gone from the box, looks like the male has reappeared on the perch though.
