Still 4 eggs and the battle of who will cover the eggs continues. Lil Dad would stay there more but NG won't let him. For a first time Mom see knows what has to be done.

Lil Dad loves to sit on the eggs and is always trying to convince his mate to leave and let him do the job. There are two video today of him trying to get NG to let him take over, he finally succeeds in the 2nd video.

Checked in on the nest box and there are now 4 eggs there. For a young one NG is doing great and there possibly may be a 5th. Watched a couple of videos on the BCAW site, 1st one is of Lil Dad who was on the eggs and NG comes in, he gets up but doesn't want to leave. SGB Thanks for your pics and updates, they are in full nesting mode even if the female is a young one. I agree with you Lil Dad will teach her well.
