Wow! That's a big fledgling! I love the 3rd photo, RCF! It's as if he/she is saying "Who you lookin' at?! LOL!

Looks like they had only one chick survive this season and it's almost ready to fledge.

The Saker falcons have four eggs this year and I think they will be hatching by the end of the week.

Very interesting.  This falcon looks very much like a PF, especially when small.  I have to say that I'm glad that the PF parents don't use the technique of bringing a live bird to the nest before the kids fledge

The two Saker chicks have fledged.  The power company posted a video of their progress and has english captioning in the video.

I caught both of them there last evening, I think its the male on the girder and the female chupping at him.

I found this on BCAW.  The Saker pair have five eggs, hatching is expected mid-April.
