Hmm, I looked at that long white line and thought, how did I miss seeing that before?
I was quite relieved to see the next photo from RCF showing the metal brackets holding up the nestbox, as usual.

I like that shot with the wall in the foreground, you get a sense of depth, that the lower roof is actually there and large and that the nestbox is on the other side of it. Different perspectives are a good thing :)

That is the top of the wall that surrounds the lower roof (where the chicks have been put the last 2 years). You have to go east from 9th street to at least 8th street to even see the nest box. Isn't it amazing what illusions a camera can create. ;)

The box is attached to the wall with metal brackets. You can see them much better in this photo. ;)
