Looks like the cam has been moved by the wind, you can almost see the bottom or under side of the nest box.

1321 hours: No rain at all today, not since last evening and only 3.2 mls all day yesterday. the wind today has been almost constant at 40 to 45 kms/hour from the northeast but doesn't seem to bother either falcon.

Shift change in the last little while, Brooklyn is on the eggs right now and has positioned himself so that he is facing into the wind.  Even though he doesn't have floppy ears, I must admit watching him in the wind makes me think of a cocker spaniel with its head out the car window ... looking at the extended forecast, looks like winds over the next week are going to be a bit lighter, 10-20 km/h (its been into the 40 km/h range in the last hour) but mostly from the east so lighter but some breeze for the next few days ...

Today looks to be the day where the wind annoys Hurricane and Brooklyn ... they are certainly look to be getting more wind on them than the Radisson birds - wet looks uncomfortable, "fluffed up" has got to be annoying though ...

1547 hours: Just started to rain (very light) but the  wind still blowing at 37 kilometres per hour and Hurricane is mildly objecting.

1113 hours: Brooklyn needs to hold on hard with his toes the wind is only blowing at 39 to 40 kilometres an hour and from the east/northeast. No rain yet, just high clouds.

It's photos like that that make me glad we attached the roof as flush with the wall as we could ... there used to be a gap and that posture would just have made it worse

1721 hours: Still a little rain but more like a fine mist and that's the way it's been since 0830 hours, total in my rain gauge since 0830 hours is 11mls. and the rain is very much needed here. temp 14c
